Who Are We?

GLN (Grow Lead Navigate) is your best tool for business success! Our Founder, Debbie Kroeger, has experience growing businesses from 3 million in revenue to over 20 million in revenue in just 3 years. Her business insights, leadership skills, and willingness to take on the hard work for high rewards is what led to the creation of GLN in 2016. From a team of one to a team of 6, Debbie has assembled a team of highly skilled professionals that have the know-how to help business owners climb back on top of the mountain of their financials and begin leading their businesses with purpose.

What’s Our Purpose?

Our purpose is to help business owners grow their businesses, lead their teams, and navigate the road ahead as they repeat the GLN process over and over again as they grow. A big part of helping business owners start running their business instead of having their business run them, is figuring out the true financial picture of their business and what to do about it. We meet clients from all across the board from sole proprietors to business owners that are leading a team of over 30 people. Our purpose is to empower them to live their dream of owning their own business in the most successful way possible.

Meet The Team

Debbie Kroeger – Owner & Founder, Lead Consultant and Lead Bookkeeper

Debbie has a lifetime of experience in leadership roles and in helping teams grow their revenue whether it be through volunteer work with the PTA when her children were in elementary school to help raise an annual donation budget of over $75,000/year and raising an annual church budget of $100,000s as the chair of the council, or as the Director of a manufacturing facility in Des Moines helping them grow from $3 Million in revenue to over $20 Million in Revenue in just 3 years. She now leads her clients in growing their revenue and profits each year and leads her own team in doing the same. Debbie is a strategic, practical, and highly organized planner who applies those skills wisely for each client she serves. She is committed to using each of her team members’ strengths to provide excellent service to each client she takes on. Debbie is a Certified Xero Advisor and is QuickBooks Certified. 

Debbie is also the co-founder of a local Women-owned business group that supports women business owners through the highs and lows of being at the helm of a company. In her free time, she enjoys reading business strategy books, crafting, spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, greeting at her church, and visiting the beaches of Florida at least twice a year. 

Kelly Kroeger – Lead Analyst and Bookkeeper

Kelly has a background in software engineering and has brought those skills to GLN as she helps analyze client financials, integrates new software into the existing process and programs them to share information, and works with the software programs we use to optimize them for each client. Kelly has quickly learned the bookkeeping process used by GLN. She assists our clients with HubDoc, Jobber, Service Autopilot, and several other software systems our clients are currently using or want to have vetted.

Outside of work, Kelly is an avid reader, enjoys being active with her husband and their dog, is actively involved in her church community, and enjoys traveling the country and the world with her husband and family.

Tammy Bushman – Payroll Lead &  Bookkeeper

Tammy is our payroll lead and a bookkeeper with GLN. Tammy has a passion for payroll and the puzzles that it can often present when deductions, adjustments, additions, and other complexities arise. She enjoys meeting with clients and using her experience in many different industries over the years to come up with creative solutions to problems they might be facing.

In her personal life, Tammy enjoys spending her time creating new things from frames to t-shirts and from wood projects to sewing; she does it all beautifully. She enjoys learning new things (especially new crafting techniques) and spending time with her husband and family out in nature.

Laura Pfaltzgraff – Office Assistant and Organizing Pro

Laura is our Office Assistant and Organizing Pro. She takes the mess of papers, receipts, and all other odds and ends you may have lying around that are essential to proper bookkeeping and turns them into organized digital copies that won’t get lost and makes matching up your expenses with your receipts a breeze for our team. Laura is also essential to our payment process as she helps ensure that printed checks for vendors of our clients are printed and mailed on time.

When she isn’t keeping our back of house all neat and tidy, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, her sons, their wives and her four grandchildren, taking her dog Charlie on walks, and reading every thriller she can get her hands on.

Allie Pfaltzgraff – Bookkeeping & Puzzle Solver

Allie works with our clients not only to keep their books nice and orderly but also to solve tough problems that a client might have in their financial software. When something doesn’t add up, Allie puts her puzzling skills to work to untangle the weeds so the client can see through the trees again. Allie is also incredibly efficient in her own work and helps our clients optimize their time to create efficient workflows for them as well.

When she’s not solving bookkeeping puzzles, she enjoys solving real ones, going on adventures with her toddler, spending time with her husband, reading and yarn arts.
